Happy Birthday, Matthew and Jonathan!

What a whirlwind of a year it has been for us! Matthew and Jonathan made one on March 2 (that's how they say it here in New Orleans).  This year has been filled with concern for their weight and development, but God has heard and answered the prayers of many on their behalf!  At their one-year check up, these guys astounded the doctor and made it on to "the curve" (not even adjusting for their prematurity)!!!!  Jonathan weighed in at 21 pounds 5 ounces or 25% and Matthew weighed in at 19 pounds 9.5 ounces or 5-10%! This was truly a reason to celebrate and rejoice in our loving and faithful God!

I made these mini cupcakes for the boys because I thought they would be easier for them to eat.  I had a little trouble with the frosting, though.  It was too thick and too thick and then all of a sudden it was too runny.  Oh, well.

Here's Matthew about to "blow" out his candle.  He got to go first, since he was born first.
